** ACQUIRING YOUR INDIVIDUAL PERMITS **

As of fall 2023, the Bahamas has begun enforcing the rule that EACH angler in a given fishing vessel must have an INDIVIDUAL fishing license. The anglers are no longer “blanket” covered by a single “cruising permit”.

In order to facilitate this process, there are two electronic methods to secure your individual fishing license:
1. Download the app “Go Outdoors Bahamas”
2. Utilize the website: https://license.gooutdoorsbahamas.com/

1. This is the screen to create an account on both the website and the app.
Click the “Enroll Now” button at the bottom.

2. This is the next screen. Where it says “Provide the Document ID Number”, you will enter your Passport Number, Customer ID (if applicable), or National ID (if applicable)

3. Fill in all of the required personal information and submit.
4. Once your account is created, you will see the options for permits. This is the one you want for a single trip sportfishing license, $60

5. Follow the prompts to add this permit to your cart and checkout.
6. Please print your permit and bring with you for the Tournament in case your vessel is spot-checked by Bahamian authorities.
