NOTICE

Effective Sunday 19th June 2022 at 12:01 am The Bahamas Travel Health Visa (BTHV) will no longer be required to travel to The Bahamas.

All unvaccinated travelers ages 2 and older will be required to obtain a negative COVID-19 test – either a negative RT-PCR or a
Rapid Antigen Test to be presented at check-in.

Vaccinated travelers will only be required to present proof of vaccination at check-in.

The CDC has announced that effective Sunday, June 12th travelers will have one less box to check on their return flights to the US for all airline or other aircraft passengers arriving in the United States from any foreign country.

MAKERS AIR PASSENGERS:  IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION

  • All Makers Air passengers are REQUIRED to upload their negative test results 24 hours prior to their departure flight   Passengers who do not provide this will be denied boarding.

    NASSAU, Bahamas, 15 June 2022 – The Government of The Bahamas is removing another COVID requirement for international visitors. Effective at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, 19 June 2022, travelers will no longer need to apply for a Bahamas Travel Health Visa in order to enter the country. All travellers  that are not vaccinated will, however, still be required to present a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than three days (72 hours) prior to travel to The Bahamas. Vacinated travelers will need to present their Covid Vaccination card.
